Unfinished business

I've not sewn more than a button on since christmas. Abbi's gingham outfit is still not made, nor is Joe's quilt more than blocks.

I'm Back!

The familiar yearning to create has finally returned. SANTA has returned my sewing attic to me. AND I want to get back to the machines. Joe has a quilt that is ready to be sewn into a top, and there are about 7 jackets to be completed.

JonJons

I've been working on getting a pattern just like I want it for JonJon's. I like them with butt0n shoulders and snaps in the crotch. Joe is my model.

I have a cute purple gingham set cut and ready for sewing for Abby.

New Outfits

I have three pink and black polka

dot/striped outfits ready. From left to right, toddler size 3, toddler size 2, and toddler size 1.

I also have 7 sundresses in progress. I have one completed.

I am gathering fabrics, ideas, and techniques for a winter jacket I want to have ready in the fall. It will be very busy, using 10 or 12 different fabrics, and 2 or 3 different sewing techniques. There will be applique, chenille, embroidery, and quilting.

I am setting a goal for myself of at minimum of one hour sewing each day.

I threw out my iron.

I threw my iron out the back door this evening. Actually, I gingerly set it out on the patio away from the house. It was smoking terribly. I was afraid it was going to going to burst into flames. I now need a new iron. I bought that iron when Lowes opened the Pineville store.

I have some more sewing to do!

I can't believe the response the clothes got at school today. I have to replenish my stock. I could have sold twice as many sets as I had with me today.

I've been busy this weekend!
